For the past 17 years, the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Society has hosted "Ladies Night Out", a fundraiser benefiting the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Centre at the Foothills Medical Centre. It is held each spring at the Calgary Italian Club, located at 416 1 Avenue. N.E.

The evenings program is designed to raise awareness about the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Centre and the burn victims who are treated there. The evening features a delicious meal prepared and served by Firefighters, door prizes, bucket raffles, musical entertainment and both silent and live auctions. Calgary Fire Department trucks, both new and antique, make an appearance and the evening would not be complete without the participation of the "Hotstuff" calendar guys.

This years "Ladies Night Out" will take place on Saturday, June 7th. Proceeds from the Ladies Nights Out evenings make up a large part of the annual donation made to the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Centre. This funding is used to upgrade the highly specialized equipment and to enhance its' already high standard of patient care.
